Aadhaar Card – Eligibility, Process and Services



UIDAI issued the 12 digit number, which is called aadhar card number after completing all verification laid down by authority. There is no bar to enroll for the Aadhaar card except you should a resident of the India.

Eligibility:

• Any Indian resident eligible to apply for aadhar card.
•NRI, who lived in India from a continuous 182 days period eligible for applying.

The process to Enrol for Aadhaar Card:

You can apply for aadhar card from any authorized aadhar enrolment center. To locate the Aadhar enrolment center, visit the UIDAI website.




To simplify the aadhar card enrolment, UIDAI authorized 10000 post offices and bank branches to operate as permanent enroll centers.

To follow below-mentioned steps you can enroll for Aadhaar Card:

• GO TO THE UIDAI website https://appointments.uidai.gov.
• Go to the ‘My Aadhar’ tab.
• Click on Locate an Enrolment Centre.
• Now you can search for Aadhaar enroll center by State and Pin code.
• Download Enrolment form.
• Fill the application form and submit with all required documents.
• Complete biometrically and get the acknowledgment.

If you don’t have all the required documents ?

UIDAI has the following provisions for the people who do not have all the required documents:

• HOF: The head of the family can submit a document as the proof of blood relation with the applicant after verification application will be processed.

• Introducer:  If the applicant doesn’t have any valid proof of identity, an introducer appointed by the registrar will assist the enrolment process.

How to Check Status of Aadhaar Card Application?

To track the status of your application goes to the UIDAI website. GO to the ‘My Aadhaar’ click on ‘check status,’ put here EID number to check the status of an application

Note- In case you lost or forgotten your acknowledgment number, recover simply by your mobile number.

How to Get the Printed Aadhaar Card?

You can get Aadhaar Card by merely going to the UIDAI website and can download it in PDF format from the site.

Generate VID: VID is a revocable variety. VID may be utilised instead of Aadhaar number e-KYC, or authentication providers are done. Authentication may be achieved using VID in a way. It's not feasible to derive Aadhaar amount.
• Aadhaar Paperless Offline e-KYC: Aadhaar Paperless Offline e-KYC is a shareable and protected document that may be employed by almost any Aadhaar holder for confirmation of identification.
Aadhaar linking: To Avail the benefits and subsidies by government schemes, applicants should have to connect their aadhaar card with their bank account.
